Energetic Portals, Personal and Collective Growth

There are energetic portals that occur as a result of space weather. In these portals, the influx of cosmic energy directly from space and funneled through the sun affects consciousness levels on earth and the rest of the solar system. It is during these times of openness that the Elite often schedule their energy rituals. It is their attempt to marshal the power of lower emotional states which are required at high population levels in order to affect mass consciousness. That lower emotional energy in the form of fear, anger or hatred exists at a fractured and unstable frequency and cannot travel like the smoother more stable frequencies of higher emotional energies like love, joy and compassion.

During the journey of awakening, there comes a point where it becomes possible for each of us to attain the ability to make a choice in that matter. To chose to be affected by collective emotional trends, or not. Depending upon your connection with family and friends, compassion for the world in general and orientation toward individual or collective growth, a conscious decision can be made to either lend one’s energy to certain emotional initiatives or not. The Heart-math institute and other meditation-based offerings are good examples of positive ways in which to direct these energies.

We are individuals but we are also a part of something larger. No matter how much individual work we do, we will always be a part of something greater than us. The Buddha did not want to teach Awakening but was coaxed to by a god. He didn’t think there were enough people on the planet that would ‘get it’. But because of that decision and those of others who have pierced the veil, the collective has benefited from the experience and initiative of individuals. While the journey towards individual awakening and heart-opening remains our individual goals, the process of doing so does result in a wave effect, whereby the immediate environment is affected and ripples of consciousness reverberate outwards from the awakened individual to transform the global consciousness as well.

Being awakened, one is therefore afforded a choice, which is also present for those who are more under the influence of theirs and others emotional states, but less clearly. A choice in how to direct personal energy. The longer the state is abided within, the clearer the synapses become, the more rarified the neural net of the mind, which begins to shine and emit purer and purer energy. Thought process clarifies and stills more and more as life becomes more a function of living in the now rather than over-thinking everything and dwelling in the past and future.

Taking advantage of the alignments of stars and planets and the solar system as it travels  through the galaxy by aligning one’s self with one’s highest potentiality during times when this energy makes that potentiality easier is an intuitive way of coming into attunement with natural forces and one’s body, both grounding one’s self in the Here and Now and, seemingly paradoxically, freeing one’s self from the limitations of the flesh.

These are exhilarating and bounteous times. I hope everyone is enjoying the ride!

Realms of Reality: The dangers of reductionism

Reductionism: An attempt or tendency to explain a complex set of facts, entities, phenomena, or structures by another, simpler set.

Along the path to knowledge there comes a point at which the individual determines that there are certain underlying Truths that support the complex array of truths that comprise material and immaterial existence. The years and decades of study and exploration of the Realms of Reality cascade into a rushing stream of information, all of the disparate bubbles and currents of complex datum coalesce and achieve a form of unity and cohesion through which deeper, more abiding trends of Truth can be discerned. The tendency in this instance is toward reducing the infinitely complex to the infinitely simple, examples of which might include:

1) We are One
2) As Above, so Below
3) The System is Evil
4) We are born to die

All of these generalizations, on their face, are true to the extent that they describe general trends conditioned upon the nature of material reality and the individual and collective perception and response to such. The problem comes, when, in the course of living, these truisms are adapted and applied to the variegated issues, problems, trials and tribulations of life to the extent that direct action is scorned in favor of the cynical attitudes of incessant intellectual dissection, non-action and non-participation. When emotionally colored, these strategies also include scorn, sarcasm, irony, egoistic densification and personal identification with alternative viewpoints guaranteed to create division and disharmony when tendered amidst diverse groupings of otherwise tolerant and forward-thinking individuals.

The tendency of reductionist thought to seek ever the simplest explanation of complex phenomenon results in a glossing over of important considerations that span the gamut of human existence and expression. Reducing expression to its utmost basal components minimizes and trivializes the trends, mores and paradigms that the multitudes of humanity live and die by daily. While for those of an inherently spiritualized bent, doing so serves their personal evolution, by proselytizing reductionism and coloring it by emotional linguistic tropes the higher state of being implicit within the spiritual search is apparently absent, resulting in the inevitable conclusion that those utilizing such strategies are instead bent upon denying the ultimate validity of all human aspiration in favor of a studied attitude of non-action and non-participation.

The transparency of such strategies is absolute. The act of hijacking a conversation by engaging in reductionist polemics is a tactic of disinformation-oriented shills and those seeking to apply their understanding of the nature of reality to the exclusion of all others. The ploys and stratagems utilized by such are ingenious to the extent that they stifle discussion and mute participation through an appeal to an incontrivertible “Greater Truth” that, on its face, invalidates the “lesser truth” being discussed, thereby indemnifying those supporting said truth in favor of non-action and non-participation. When employed within a group format of individuals mired within the diverse paradigms of spiritual or political polemics reductionist strategies discount all considered and proven modalities grounded in direct action.

As an example, the unity of creation is proven through the revelations of quantum physics. The unity of consciousness is the state of greater humanity, and yet, it cannot be denied that there are differences in the qualitative expression of human wants and needs at the planetary level. Individuals and groups have different wants and needs that necessitate different strategies in order to satisfy. Levels of consciousness contribute to the expression of these wants and needs at the individual and collective levels. At the level of mass humanity, all of these wants and needs are valid as expressions of the underlying totality and the drive toward infinite manifestation of all potentiality. The Earth as a realm of diversity reflects this underlying, reductionist Truth. From the most heinous evil to the most transcendent good all are valid, all deserve expression; all require manifestation in some form or another.

Language, as the primary mode of human expression, is limited in its ability to encompass and express the totality of Truth as it is related to the truths that bound our perceptive realities. Therefore, it becomes necessary, for those who seek to communicate to the broadest array of individuals and groups possible, to moderate their expression of truth in full awareness of these limitations, allowing for differences of opinion and subjective understandings. This moderation must occur primarily in the realm of emotivity, as the expression of such reveals the egoistic underpinnings of discursive intent. Argumentation, petty sarcasm, boorish solidarity and condescending intellectualism point to communicative limitations that contribute to even greater discord and ideological differentiation.

In the end, and beyond the material realms of incarnation, this experience of diverse incarnative potentiality is designed to reveal the limitations of materiality and points the way to a greater harmonic resonance and unity with the ultimate source of Creation. But within the holographic matrix of this reality, as individuals and soul groups of differing purpose and expression, these experiential modalities are indicative of the beauty and perfection of life and the living process, revealed to be the crucible of purification upon which we are all transfixed, awaiting our own moment of gnosis.

But until then, perhaps it is wiser to be tolerant and understanding, rather than intolerant, base or crass. Rather than reducing our understandings ever to their basest components, perhaps there is validity in broadening our understandings in order to encompass the perspectives of those who have not yet achieved a deeper knowledge of the nature of the world and what lies beyond. The compassionate resonation of a truly spiritual viewpoint is more sympathetic in nature and not overtly disparaging to the extent that all other viewpoints are considered meaningless and pointless. Everything has a point. Everything has meaning.

Our synchronistic interactions are multidimensional and expressive of causative factors beyond our limited ability to understand. There are no coincidences or accidents, the cacaphonic and tumultuous symphony of life – in all of its chaotic simplicity – is perfectly aligned with our highest intent but can also be, simultaneously, in line with our lowest, most emotional desires. Engaging and embracing each other with this understanding can result in the inculcation of greater understanding and lead the way through the mental morass to that higher destiny shared by all who enter this Vale of Tears, intent upon consciously achieving reunification with Source.

A Spider’s Life: On the necessity of a perspective shift

It’s often very easy to lose perspective.

Our thought patterns and emotions are often so repetitive and so bodily overwhelming that we become mired in thought patterns of self-imposed suffering, flights of inpure fantasy and imaginative armaggedons that threaten life as we know it daily.

In recently working to strip and repaint a century-plus old building, I kept maiming and killing insects. Small, anonymous spiders that would rush out of the way of the broom, sanding paper, steel wool or paint scraper, frantically seeking safety from my invasion of their territory. Think about it:

This is my home. Of my dozens of brothers and sisters, I found this place. Small, dark. Food comes, sparsely lately. The cold is coming. But I have my home. Today …

My transgression resulted in pure fear, rushing adrenaline (or the spider’s equivalent of such), sometimes dismemberment, and death. For what reason? From the spider’s perspective, I was death itself, come calling. Out of the blue a massive, inscrutable invasion of not only their home but their body as well, initiating fight or flight but quickly becoming flight alone as the sheer incomprehensibility and massive size of my tools, body and presence made any perceived resistance on their part not only futile but impossible. What must those insects last moments have been like?

Not like this. Why?

We are often like that. Awoken from our waking dreams by events, inscrutable and immense that seem to sweep into our lives and change everything. Events that seem to have arrived from nowhere and that just as quickly disappear somewhere leaving our lives shattered beyond repair. If we are lucky enough to survive it with only dismemberment or personal turmoil we are left contemplating what happened to us, often re-centering our repetitive thought patterns around a new fulcrum and repeating the same pattern of dwelling and tumultuous emotional intoxication that reinforces the energetic perceptual miasma within which we conduct our lives.

The insects had no greater knowledge of my purposes. They had no idea I was repainting cleaning off old paint, no conception of my motivations for doing so or the larger societal structures that put me in the direct position to impact their lives. Similarly, we as humans of a broader but still limited perspective have very little idea about the reasons why certain events happen in our lives. We are not cognizant of the forces that brought them in to play at the societal and planetary level, at the solar systemic, galactic or cosmic level.

In the face of this kind of ignorance, the subjective siren song of the body and its needs consume our thoughts and direct our actions. The two brains, the one in our head and the one in our stomach, combine to send impressions, feelings, cravings and random bodily sensations to our consciousness which has to deal with those plus the functions of the higher mind that leave us lost in the past and future as our bodies navigate the Now for us, more or less successfully, given our penchant for distraction. Given the state of modern Western society and the physical and psychological ills that affect many of its inhabitants it should not come as a surprise that perspective is difficult to inculcate and retain.

Perspective in this instance does not come from centering consciousness in the body. As stated earlier, the body is the focal point of the emotional brew, in turn affected by the deprivations and delights of the sensual world. Food or the lack thereof, water, drugs and alcohol. The more we reside within our bodies the more apt we are to be distracted by it, hence the exhortation in spiritual systems the world across to come out of the body and seek one’s true center in the Divine.

Does a spider know God?

My web, my life, perfect geometric construction of fractal reality, my senses attuned to the sun, the wind. The exhilaration of the hunt, the sweet nectar of life slowly drained from my Food, sustaining me. Moments, hours, hanging, waiting, meditating upon Being with no future and no past, only Now. My web thrums …

From the perspective of a Human Being, do we know God?

The sense of clarity and presence resultant in living life amidst the predators and the saints with a perspective moored beyond either extreme of the spectrum is a mirror reflection of the clarity and presence attuned to when consciousness is centered beyond the body and within God. God in this and every instance being commiserate with Source, the Creative Void, Pure Consciousness, Love, Home. Like a still pool reflecting the sky above, impressions from the world are like single raindrops falling to disturb the peace of stillness, reverberating, rippling outwards to manifest as signs of struggle and suffering in our lives. The process of training the mind to retain that inherent stillness is the process of creating within yourself a receptacle for the expression of the Divine upon the physical plane.

The perspective of the Divine is beyond pain. It is beyond petty needs and desires, it is beyond jealousies, envy and greed. Since my spider friends and teachers are in direct and constant commune with the Source of All That Is without the distractions that we humans are bombarded by for much of the days and years their return to that essence and final goodbye to their bodies and this world were without the kind of turmoil that humans, when faced with imminent death, are subjected – by their fears – to. The religious and culturally-derived fear of death that permeates our present milieu is a direct result of the loss of that direct and constant commune with the Source of All That Is.

The perspective of the Divine is that there is no Death. Living life honoring the body and the biological by not consciously seeking to terminate life is fulfilling a higher purpose. And yet when death occurs no matter the circumstance,  it is a perfect reflection of causes and results and levels of higher aggregation generally too abstract and multi-dimensional for our conscious minds to encompass. As chaos theory posits the effects of a leaf upon a hurricane, so each thought, word and action affects our lives and lives beyond ours at a level of interconnection that defies explication. And yet, it is, these things are.

And so we must shift our perspectives to find peace and clarity amidst the ripples, hurricanes and circumstances of life. Look past the body and its needs, society and its needs, to a higher cause, a higher affinity, a higher responsibility. The responsibility that we each have to each other, to Life, to Creation, to God. As individual shards of consciousness distilled from the multiversal brew our singular lives have purpose and meaning in the constant and never-ending evolution of All That Is, but that meaning is contextual to your meaning, to her meaning, to his meaning, to our meaning. Alone, we are units, while together we create a whole,  co-existing in all possible permutations of probability, enacting and enjoying this thing called life.

How Do You Sell Your Soul? Daily, and for cheap

What is wrong with living our lives?

Nothing. Everything is as it should be.

What can be the cost of living our lives?

Our souls.

What do you mean by that?

The choices we make in the course of living our lives determine what happens after our lives are done.

Being comfortable in life is one of the primary goals society programs into us as citizens of different countries. Despite the geographic differences and distances, Western culture as a whole displays remarkable similitude in how ideofacts and sociofacts are ingrained within populations. To be successful in any of the Western cultures, a modicrum of capitalistic ideology and consumer-oriented methodology must be inculcated by groups, families and individuals. To belong and to epitomize the expression of said culture, the actual, material expression of lifetime success is a relative degree of affluence as measured by the modernization memes that permeate Eurocentric society and those sycophant socieities serving as peripheral outposts of raw material and low-wage earner extraction.

The daily choice of complying with the demands of modern society result in the accumulation of karmic debt as a result. Because we choose to work, we accept the ramifications of what it means to do that work. If I am a police officer, then I accept the consequences of protecting the property of the rich. If I am an Insurance salesman, I accept the consequences of propping up a system built upon the enslavement of human beings. If I am a soldier, I accept the consequences of being involved in corporate mercenary adventurism. If I work at a fast food restaurant, then I accept the consequences of feeding customers food that not only is not good for them but actually helps to kill them.

Society is successful because of the complicity of ordinary human beings. Because we need jobs, because we have to pay our bills, because we have to drive our cars, because we have to live, we accept the consequences of contributing to the continuation of the vast life-draining machinery that we call modern Western society. We accept our complicity in it continuance often not even wanting to know the details of that agreement. We don’t want to know the depths of the crimes we are engaged in by association and by active work. We would rather take our paychecks and spend them on big-screen televisions, be able to go out to nice restaurants with our friends on the weekend and imbibe in more death-dealing food, drugs and alcohol in order to drown ourselves in oblivion as a result of not wanting to face up to the consequences of our lifestyles and what those lifestyles actually support.

It is painful to look at the path of a lifetime and determine that you are not on the side of the good guys. If you come to realize it, you may ask the universe, but what else could I have done? What other choices did I have? And the answers to those questions might have shaken you to your very core. Or given rise to a visceral fear that the loss of material security must result in.

In these days and times of political and social unrest, of economic insecurity and planetary shifts, nothing is certain. No life, no relationship, no job, no aspect of the natural world currently exists in a state of equilibrium, all is in flux. This flux is resulting in the gradual coalescence of a new paradigm of interrelation that must of necessity result in a more sustainable global society, a society based upon principles of egalitarianism rather than unrestrained capitalism and economic privation.

Despite the fact that everything as it currently exists is as it should be, that does not mean that there is not room for change. Since change on a global level must start with change on a personal level it is incumbent upon all who desire to live a conscious life in support of sustainable interrelationships with each other and the world, all attempts at shifting the paradigmatic focus must start within us each. Each one of us must go within and find out what it is that we are made of. In order to do that, we must determine, first, what our major illusions are, what our fears are, what is it in our lives that is holding us back from being all that we can be?

What is holding you back?

What do you fear?

What is it in your life that you absolutely cannot afford to lose?

What is it that causes you to compromise all of your vaunted ideals and accept less than you deserve?

Asking these questions – actually realizing that these questions need to be asked – is one of the first steps to choosing to awaken to some of the deeper realities of life. Of accepting the fact that the way things have been is not the way things should be and that a change is in order. Accepting your compliance with the system and that you are indeed an agent of the system as long as you work for and through the system to support the global hierarchy of dominance and control is a big step in figuring out how to create a lifestyle of non-compliance and opposition to the machine.

That opposition does not have to be violent. In fact, non-compliance is one of the best and most effective ways to isolate systemic institutions and marginalize them to the extent that new, people-centered and sustainable institutions arise to serve the needs of a humanity more concerned with living life instead of accumulating capital and material goods. Living life in support of life, in support of animal rights, in support of human rights, in support of the earth’s rights beyond the capacity of formal institutions based upon capitalistic redistribution of wealth that actually serves to continue the concentration of wealth among the Haves rather than increase its availability to the so-called Have-nots. Going beyond money to reclaim a basic goodness and sense of shared destiny and circumstance that binds us all together as a whole – rather than continue giving power to the separation memes dividing us into classist, ethnic and individual parts – is the only way to make sense of any future conceptualization of life in this world. Anything less can only be a continuation of what is already occurring.

And the way life is being lived right now – or dreamed of being lived right now – by way too many is not what life is supposed to be about. Making money. Being rich. Being famous. People sell their souls on the daily and watch themselves, helplessly, as their spark for life lessens, as their bitterness grows, as their bodies age and their minds ossify in regret and lost hope. And they wonder what happened and when, knowing all the while exactly what happened and when they made the choice to conform to the life presented them and to give up their dreams for a sense of false security.

These things are distractions from the true purpose of life. Introspection. Inner growth. Spiritual evolution.

Happiness, love. Peace.

What is right with our lives?

Everything. Living in awareness is conscious evolution.

What is the reward for living a good life?

Stability of surroundings, of societal and familial roles. Peace of body and mind.

Is that really a goal worth living for?

It is the only goal worth living for.

Timeline Collapse, Choice and the Power of Intention

We do indeed live in auspicious times. Our chosen realities are changing around us as we change within. This is so for each of us, regardless of the direction of that change. No matter how hard we try to keep our heads buried in the sand, information gets in. For some, this is so irritable they work harder to anesthetize themselves to Truth with drugs and alcohol, sex and work. Pervasive fear at the core of them catalyzes and taking what they believe they need from life to protect them from the unknown becomes their default modus operandi. For others, the light comes on and they realize there is more to the world than what they have previously known. Their hearts open and sharing and helping others resonates, seems to be the only logical manner through which to deal with the changing world. Either way, a shift is occurring and the importance of that change is at both the individual and the collective level.

Our individuated sense of self is changing. The “I” of “me”. For those awakening due to the energetic bombardment of the planet and their changing emotional states and dna, they are beginning to realize that the universe without is also within. That the illusory separation between us is fading and the Truth is rising fast. Lies, untruths don’t last as long as they used to. It’s becoming easier to read other people’s body language. The eyes always tell the real story. More synchronicities are happening. The animals sometimes seem to be communicating with you. So do the plants. There are strange lights in the sky. Not planes, not satellites. Some people are starting to look at you wierdly. Friends whom you used to have so much in common with grow increasingly distant. You don’t want to do the things you used to, watch the same shows, go to the same bars or clubs. And yet, while all these changes are occurring within you, you are intimately aware of your connection to everyone else, even those who seem to be moving away from you.

At some point, you may come to realize that “I” is, truly, “We”. Your sense of compassion awakens and you might find yourself walking down the street crying for absolutely no reason. You may be day-dreaming more, or your night-time dreams are more vivid and stranger than they’ve ever been. You may chalk this down to an increase in distraction and lack of centered-ness as well as an overactive imagination. But what you do not realize, is that you are working with the multi-dimensional aspect of reality. That you are growing within. That your soul is reaching out to its greater aspects that exist beyond the ego, beyond the material world around us, that stretch out into the infinite and the eternal and encompass greater potentialities than our limited earthly experience could ever contain. That what your culture calls your imagination is actually much more important than you ever realized. In one sense, it is the accumulation and collapsing of timelines into one consciousness. That is the endeavor we are currently embarked upon.

There’s a movie Jet Li did called The One.  A martial arts movie, but relevant in that the movie was about alternate realities. Jet Li was a criminal in one reality who found out how to move between them. He traveled  to all these different timelines using technology killing copies of himself. As he did so he got stronger and stronger. He could jump really high and he was very strong. In the last timeline, his other self was a cop. The cop version of himself found out about his evil other self and his dastardly shenanigans and so, of course, the two eventually had to fight. You can guess which copy of himself One/Won.

The point is that we are actively engaged in the process of timeline collapse right here, right now. Desiring to minimize our capabilities, we tell ourselves that it is all just our imagination. Make-believe. But that is totally discounting our innate capabilities and misunderstanding what the imagination truly is. We must always remember that, in an infinite creation, everything is probable. that means that the things we think we are making up in our minds are potential and probable timelines in concurrent existence elsewhere. So when we think about ‘what if’s’ or engage in totally whimsical flights of fancy, or if we make choices that take us down one path rather than another, consciously collapsing those alternate realities into your current reality makes each of us The One. This process is occurring unconsciously for most of the world’s population and so it is causing a lot of individual confusion and will lead to insanity in some.

By collapsing these probabilities we become clear. We become more able to live in the Now, less distracted by thoughts that seemingly come from nowhere, arising out of whatever miasma of general worldliness that some must posit as their origin point. Instead of shifting in and out of different realities thousands if not millions of times a day, we become able to focus and ground ourselves in the immediacy of the Now, the Here and Now, which must occur if we are to individually survive the energetic nature of what is to come with our consciousnesses intact.

One of the main signs that you are grounding yourself in your present reality is that you daydream much less. Or rather, your daydreams become much more pointed and topical rather than just random wanderings through alternate timelines where you are imagining yourself rich, or with your perfect lover, or doing something other than what you are currently doing. As you center yourself, connecting your ego to your deeper consciousness, the ego stops filling your head with ruminations from other realities and stray psychic detritus it picks up from out of the ether around you. You gain the ability to control your thoughts and by so doing, control your words and actions. You begin to live a more purposeful and directed life.

Collapsing these timelines erases them from existence and you become more powerful in your current life because the energy you expended creating those timelines – which flow on, as life must do once initiated, regardless of your present level of attention – with your imagination is now focused upon the life you are living and the reality within which you endeavor. The dreams that you wished to come true stand a much greater chance of coming to fruition when you are applying your intention to your current situation, coalescing multiversal causality around whatever goal you wish to manifest. Key to this manifestation is the extent to which your emotions are employed in service to your vision and also that your vision is collective in nature, as the multiverse honors connectivity over isolationism in every instance. Following synchronicities that arise surrounding your intentions becomes paramount.

It is  at this point that it becomes clear that all of these disparate streams of endeavor work together as a seamless whole in order to present  you with the opportunity to live a conscious and creative life, wandering through the scenes of your choosing and picking which direction to move into next based upon its alignment with your intentions. A clear mind sans distracting thought is awakened to the moment and sees everything, is able to calculate probabilities and notice the most relevant events and signs, alerting you to your status and connection to creation in every instant. Balancing thought to minimizing the unnecessary ends worrying and regrets, mulling over situations needlessly and dwelling on negative events and people. The clarity of the moment exudes a joyousness that permeates your life and leaves you impervious to the things that bother other people, that make their lives miserable as they vacillate between emotional states, the past and future and the impositions of other energetic structures.

If all of this sounds too good to be true, then it is. For you. Not for everybody in the world. If you are not aware of the connection between the emotions and intent, and the methods by which to infuse your desires with the energy necessary to make them manifest in your life then that is a skillset you need to cultivate. If you read the previous and immediately think of mansions, fancy cars and lavish lifestyles then you have missed the entire point of this discussion. Once you have achieve a state of clarity in your mind then clarity in your life will follow without a doubt. That clarity is accompanied by the realization that you do not need half of the things that you think you do, or that society has pounded into your head that you need. The joy of that clarity comes with a sense of freedom, and freedom never comes with an increase in material things, only a decrease in them.

If everything we have spoken of here resonates with you please share it with those you care for. Time is of the essence and the energetic flow of potentiality continues to coalesce around miseducated intent. This is changing, slowly, but faster every day. With each new realization that life is designed to be lived and that fear is the mindkiller another soul takes another step in the direction of remembering who she is in the greater scheme of cosmic consciousness. Opening to the world, to the cosmos, is activating the stardust comprising our bodies, is re-energizing our quantum connection to all of life, to other people, the animals, the plants, the earth herself. Living in the flow of life is living in the moment, intending a life of beauty is intending peace and prosperity for others as well as yourself.

It’s not difficult. It’s all about letting go. Of the thoughts, of the worries, the regrets, the fear. Fear of who you have been is a burden to be cast off and joy in who you are is a present to be picked up and shared with all whom you love.

So pick it up. And let’s go!

Understanding Cosmic Geography: Beyond New Age mythology

The scientists try really hard to make this difficult for some reason. It’s not really apparent to me why this might be so unless there is something dangerous about understanding some very basic truths about Creation. I recently watched a video of a popular NASA astronomer who was intent upon debunking “2012 Doomsday Scenarios”. In the process of doing that and attempting to calm fears of the world ending on December 21, 2012, he stated uncategorically that the Earth, viewed from the sun, aligns with the galactic equator twice a year. By making this statement he was telling a fundamental truth. But a truth that is relative and that holds an arguably ancillary relation to the greater cosmic cycles heralded by many systems of knowledge both ancient and new.

The Earth is currently tilted at an approximately 23.5 degree angle on its axis. This means that the Earth’s equator is at an angle to an imaginary line emanating from the sun’s center and passing through the center of it and other planets in the solar system. This imaginary line is called the Plane of the Ecliptic. As the Earth travels around the sun during the course of the year at a speed of 18.4 miles per second, this tilt is actually the reason why we have varying seasons as the Arctic and Antarctic circles are exposed to direct sunlight at oppositional times of year. In the Northern Hemisphere, when the summer solstice arrives on June 20th, the Arctic Circle is bathed in sunlight and that region of the planet experiences a 24 hour day, while, in the Southern Hemisphere on the same day, the Antarctic Circle experiences a 24 hour night. It is during the winter and summer solstices during this particular span of years that the Earth is generally aligned with the Galactic Equator. Since we passed through the Galactic Equator – which is a few hundred light years in thickness - 2 million years ago, Sol-System is currently 50+ light years above it and well into a potential danger zone.

Precession of the EquinoxesThe 23.5 degree “lean” of the Earth, known as the Axial Tilt, results in the apparent but semi-illusory astronomical phenomenon known as the Precession of the Equinoxes, or, the Great Year.  This cycle is an approximately 25,772 year cycle where the stars in the sky seem to apparently move backwards in relation to a position on Earth if seen over the course of this cycle. The Earth precesses, exhibiting a slow, conical movement that causes the stars overhead to circle in a lengthy cycle. For example, the Northern pole star, Polaris, is almost directly over the North Pole (it will be directly over the Pole at about 2100) only for a relatively short while. In time, other stars will be the pole star until such a time in the cycle when Polaris is once again directly over the Pole, indicating the completion of the cycle.  5000 years ago, the star Thuban, in the constellation of Draco was the Pole Star and was designated by the Egyptians as such. In 6,000 years, the Pole Star will be Alderamin in the Cepheus Constellation and in 12,000, it will be near the star Vega, in the Lyra constellation. It has been calculated that the solstice point (the exact center of the sun as viewed from earth) will align with the Galactic Equator circa 2012, which can only occur once in the entire precessional cycle. The exactitude of this particular solstice – as opposed to other, off-centered solstices – is its importance.

In relation to the position of the Sun, Earth and its cohort of planets comprising the solar system orbit at an approximately 90 degree angle to the Galactic Equator, or the Galactic Plane. The Sun, Sol, is orbiting around a central position that theorists posit contains what might be either a singularity known as a Black Hole or an alternating Black Hole/White Hole complex existing in a configuration measured by what is known as the Kruskal-Szekeres Spacetime Coordinate System that then coalesces into a  Schwartzchild Wormhole connecting two universes. The complex interrelationship of these two types of dense energetic agglomerations results in oppositional yin and yang-like actions, with Black Holes drawing in energy and White Holes  ejecting energy.  According to the model, the two types of energy processing singularities may alternate in space and time in a spiraling, cyclical fashion that results in both Creation and Destruction phases.

It takes Sol-System approximately 226 million years, moving at a rate of 135 miles per second, to orbit this mysterious central region of the Milky Way galaxy. This time period is known as the Cosmic or Galactic Year and is measured through observations made by the Hubble Telescope fixated upon Sagittarius A, an astronomical radio source which lies upon the border of the Sagittarius and Scorpius constellations very near the center of the galaxy.  Since the center of the Milky Way Galaxy has not yet been directly observed – while the idea of at least a singular Black Hole existing at the center of many galaxies is considered a scientific fact –  the approximation of the composition of the Galaxy’s central region remains subject to relational measurements, hence the designation of Sagittarius A as galactic center by the scientific establishment.

The planets are of course orbiting the sun throughout this period and do so at an approximately 90 degree angle to the Galactic Equator or Plane as mentioned previously. A significant aspect of the solar system’s circumnavigation of the galaxy is the fact that the Sun’s ecliptic plane is always oriented toward the Galactic Center which may indicated an established energetic relationship. This possibility adds credence to the insistence upon the alignment of the Earth with the Sun and the Galactic Equator in December of 2012 as being of resonant import. Positions A, B and C in the image to the right reflect the position of the December Solstice sun 3000 years ago, 1,500 years ago and this year, indicating its location in relation to the Milky Way galaxy. Besides moving towards and away (tidal motion) from the Galactic Center, Sol-System also moves up and down in relation to the Galactic Plane. It takes 64 million years to complete one of these perpendicular oscillations, meaning that Sol-System is above the Galactic Plane for 64 million years and below the Galactic Plane for 64 million years.  Also according to the article linked above regarding the potential danger zone above the Galactic Plane, this wave-like motion results in greater and lesser protection from cosmic radiation, exemplified by the Earth’s bio-diversity cycle – measured as the time between mass extinctions – which, at 62 million years in duration, almost exactly corresponds to the planet’s movement above and below the Galaxy’s equator.

Sol-System and the Earth have passed above the Galactic Plane which has resulted in an increase in cosmic energy bombarding the planet as well as an increased risk of comet strikes.  The Sun and other sources of radiation can drastically affect the climate of Earth as well as seismic and volcanic activity. This measured increase of incoming energy may result in a decrease in bio-diversity and a potential mass extinction that may be more related to the movement of the solar system rather than any anthropogenic causes, as may also be the case with global warming as a solar-systemic rather than a purely planetary phenomenon.

There currently exists much contention around these topics  and, seemingly, much disinformation. The connection between emotions and energy is well established in the scientific literature. If more energy enters Earth-System it only stands to reason that people across the world will undergo certain types of collective emotional experiences as a result. While the energetic aspect and implications of increased bombardment of the planet by cosmic radiation is understood by scientists to result in genetic changes that have been proven to lead to a higher mortality rate, there is little overt discussion of these topics in the mainstream nor is there any indication that such is forthcoming.

It also seems to be the case that the disinformation campaign has permeated current-day spiritual movements as well. Confused and non-scientific proclamations regarding “photon belts” and “central suns” unnecessarily distort perceptions and take advantage of the unwary. The purported photon belt has been posited to surround the solar system or to be a fixed region of space the Earth is entering, while the star Alcyone is purported to be the galaxy’s “central sun”. The photon belt theories are based upon the “super-wave” concept as developed by Dr. Paul LaViolette describing cosmic ray volleys emanating from the central region of our galaxy. These rays result in measurable impacts upon climate and lifeforms. The Pleiades constellation and Alcyone are in the opposite direction (as measured from Sol-System and Earth’s perspective) from the galactic core and Sol-System cannot orbit a star further distant from the galactic core than itself.

While the Photon Belt idea does hold some credence in that it is based upon a very real and measurable energetic phenomenon, the state of nigh-religious fervor distracting the gullible from the true nature of things remains problematic. The brilliant luminosity and massive physicality of Sagittarius A actually serves to reinforce it’s status as candidate for some “central sun” ideal as does its location, while Alcyone and the Pleiades serve only as distractions, literally guiding people’s gaze in the opposite direction from Truth.

Perhaps this state of affairs serves the Establishment in keeping the public relatively unaware of the nature of our world, solar-system, galaxy and universe.  As long as people are kept ignorant of the cyclical nature of reality and the proven challenges that arrive like clockwork to overtake and devastate the Earth there will be no uncomfortable questions or mass hysteria. Perhaps it is the state of uncertainty itself which forces governments and science into perhaps unwitting conspiratorial collusion as the paucity of direct evidence and sure knowledge make predictive declarations politically dangerous for individuals and institutions.

Whatever the case may be, there are some things that are most certainly known and that have a direct bearing upon our world and state of collective consciousness. Being aware of the cyclical nature of reality is fundamental to a general knowledge of how the world works and is a necessary part of any basic education. Taking an holistic view of disparate phenomenon – as done in this article – brings to light some very interesting potentialities for the near and distant future. There are indeed challenges to collective and individual physical, mental and spiritual stability now and to come, to be sure. But the world will not end on December the 21, 2012 despite deliberate and derogatory generalizations characterizing non-mainstream spiritualists by mainstream paradigmatic hitmen.

It has become quite evident that ancient civilizations had access to planetary, solar systemic and galactic knowledge that far exceeds our current grasp of reality. The oft misinterpreted depictions of the ancient Sumerians, Egyptians, Mayans and other peoples have resulted in the free and uninformed cultural appropriation of systems of measurement and thought foreign to minds of today. The extent to which sound affects the physical world and language mirrors thought and affects the genetic makeup of individuals is a sobering reality-check upon our modern ability to fully understand the seemingly multidimensional nature of polytonal (Eastern, Southern) as opposed to monotonal (Western) languages. However these ancient peoples came by their knowledge of the universe, their insistence upon the cyclical nature of reality and the repeated destruction of civilizations due to cosmic energetic shifts is a consistent theme the world across.

The culminations of planetary, solar systemic and galactic cycles present opportunities for energetic shifts to peak and then dissipate over time as our solar system and world enter, traverse and then pass new regions of space.  How we respond to these energetic changes biologically, mentally and spiritually is, to a large extent, both an individual and a collective endeavor. We must, as a species, become comfortable with the fact that our world must change and that it is beyond our collective ability as a technological species to determine the nature of that change. How we individually relate to the Times and to the coming world can represent deliberate and informed point loci of viral effectiveness within an information-driven network as our knowledge becomes shared with our social groupings and then radiates outwards in a web of ever-increasing awareness.

There will come a point when it becomes impossible to hide the truth of what is occurring. Concentrating personal attention and focus by seeking truth in an unwavering fashion will in turn hone individual purpose and intention, consolidating psychological and spiritual systems around key aspects of reality pertaining to personal evolution. Knowing the Truth, therefore, is being the Truth. The Truth that must soon pervade the consciousness-oriented meme of our post-modern and pre-apocalyptic collective.

Belief, Knowledge and Truth: Can you tell the difference?

Who are you?

What do you believe is true?

What do you know is true?

Is there a difference between belief and knowledge?

If you say no, there is no difference, what are you basing that belief on?

If you say yes, there is a difference, what are you basing that belief on?

Do you sense the inherent contradiction here?

The limitations of language?

How many times have you noticed how people make their belief systems their lived reality and shaped their own personal experience of the world to reflect that belief? How believers surround themselves with other believers and therefore everything in their environment reinforces their beliefs. If someone believes something with all of their heart and mind, does that make it knowledge? If I believe with all my heart and mind that the world is flat, does that make it true? If I believe with all my heart and mind that God lives in Heaven above and the Devil in Hell below does that make it true? If I believe with all my heart and mind that there is no God at all and that individual consciousness ends at death does that make it true? Are truth and belief equivalent? Are truth and knowledge equivalent?

So what, then, is the difference between belief and knowledge? And what do either of them have to do with truth?

One online dictionary says:

Belief:

  1. An acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists.
  2. Something one accepts as true or real; a firmly held opinion or conviction.
Knowledge:
  1. Information and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject.
  2. What is known in a particular field or in total; facts and information.

Truth:

  1. The quality or state of being true: “the truth of her accusation”.
  2. That which is true or in accordance with fact or reality: “tell me the truth”.

1. Belief: Acceptance. Opinion. Existence.

2. Knowledge: Acquiring. Experience. Practical.

3. Truth: Fact. Reality.

Each of these terms has a subjective and an objective side to them. Each of these terms can mean different things to different people. Each of these terms can be debated endlessly.

Therefore, the only thing the first two terms share in common is their inability to fully encompass all perspectives pertaining to the third term.

As language inherently obfuscates rather than clarifies  the attendant difficulties in determining what is a belief vs knowledge and whether either category encompasses truth is a difficult if not impossible task.

The ability of humans to create lives and live them in communities based upon what are later found to be false beliefs, mistaken knowledge or untruths are rife across the span of history. What was true yesterday might be found to be untrue tomorrow. Human understanding of the world and each other evolves seemingly by the microsecond. Ignorance is the common state of everyone, as there is always something we don’t know that can and often does change our entire perspective about any subject whatsoever.

Disparate brain wiring inhibits understanding, different chemical makeups and the ability to control brain chemistry make some of us more or less compassionate and others more or less detached from the considerations and opinions of others.

Whether one believes or knows that Creation is either purposeful or purposeless does nothing to minimize the acknowledged fact of existence. We exist. Our experiences exist. Our perspectives exist. The double slit experiment proves beyond a doubt that the observer affects the observed. At the level of quarks and mesons, at the level of thoughts, the very presence of consciousness affects the material reality that it perceives. Quantum entanglement proves that everything is connected, also at the sub-atomic level. A split atom sent to the other side of the universe will turn simultaneous to the original remaining in the scientist’s lab.

Belief and Knowledge seem to be filters for experience. The less experience we have, the closer we are to belief. The more experience we have, the closer we are to knowledge. The quality of that experience determines how close our beliefs and knowledge are to truth. Whether a truth is a “little t” truth or a “big T” Truth is determined by how close experience approaches the multiversal in nature. Whether that truth is ephemeral, subjective and dependent upon shifting conditions or whether that Truth is an objective and fundamental expression of some multiversal constant.

The constant in all cases is experience. Personal expression. Therefore, our ability to perceive and express beyond the ephemeral, the subjective, the ego and personality-driven and approach the fundamental, the objective, the Higher Self and Avatarically-driven determines the extent to which our beliefs and knowledge reflect a greater rather than lesser Truth.

Who are you?

How closely do you associate with the truths you believe?

How accurately do you reflect the greater Truths of existence?

Are your truths local or universal?

Is there a difference  between local truths and universal Truths?

If you say no, there is no difference, what are you basing that belief on?

If you say yes, there is a difference, what are you basing that belief on?

Do you sense, here, the perceptual contradiction that, in reality, is no contradiction at all?

The necessity of going beyond language?

Art and Experience: The Social Compact and Creativity

To what purpose do we share? Why do we write, draw and sing? What do our continual manifestations of creativity have to do with the world of our experience?

It is understood that we exist within Creation, or, the Material World. The 3-dimensional world of our senses (sight, sound, touch), plus time, the 4th dimension. It is also understood that, from the perspective of consciousness (mind, spirit, soul), this Creation is also Maya, a sanskrit word for the illusory world of the senses or, again, the Material World.

As an artist, graphic, textual and aural, I create in sight and sound, according to my feelings and thought-processes at the time of creation. An idea may birth itself in me and percolate for minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or years, and then come out as a beat, a song, a poem, an essay, a drawing, painting or graphic. It is indisputeable that, however that idea expresses itself upon leaving my thoughts and emotions and manifests materially upon whichever canvas I choose, the idea itself is not original, that it comes from some deeper well-spring that all humans share, which is what allows you to read what I write, listen to the words I sing or look at the picture I paint and feel something upon witnessing it.

My own, personal interpretation of a deeper Reality – as opposed to a surface reality – a deeper Truth – as opposed to a surface truth – that we all share, is what allows us all to resonate deeply to beautiful works of art, to empathize with an emotional song, or nod to words written which describe what we feel or think about something almost exactly. The closer you and I are in our backgrounds and cultures, the easier it is for me to translate those deeper currents of reality into forms that you can understand. The closer we are in immediate experience allows you to feel the emotional currents that may underly specific forms of expression, creating an immediate bond of sympathy that will transcend any other perceived differences.

But does that poem, that essay, that graphic, that song reflect what is Real? Or is it only a representation of something that is unreal? Is the work of art or literature meaningful beyond our experiences, or are our experiences the sum totality of our awareness?

Our experiences bind us not only to Creation, but also to each other. I used to always emphasize to my physical geography classes that our most fundamental and intimate relationship – post-birth – is not with each other, but with the world around us. We share Incarnation, as a human family, within the bounds of the Material World. We share, as a human family, the generic symbols and archetypes of collective unconsciousness. We share, as a human family, the range of emotions that cause us to smile or frown. We share, as a human family, the progressive and encompassing stricture of time and space. Therefore, we share, as a human family, all of the requirements necessary to create an illusion of reality that binds us, in turn, to the Material World.

So if this world is the product of a form of collective consensus regarding the nature and form of reality, what does that mean in terms of our expressions and the existence of a greater Reality? The double-slit experiment, which underlies and upholds the most basic assumptions of quantum physics has banished any doubt about the relationship of consciousness to matter. The act of observation changes the state of matter at the most fundamental level of aggregation, the quantum field. Mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it don’t matter.

Or, if you don’t think it, it’s not real. We create reality in each moment, then. We co-create this reality by agreement. We are trained from childhood in the conditions of this agreement and by the time we are adults, it is mostly an unconscious process. If you have children, or remember your own childhood, you can recall the process by which it occurred: the constant bombardment of questions leading to answers that reflect very subjective viewpoints held in common. As we age, we find confirmation of these early lessons in our friends and society in general, which further solidifies our perceptions and views of the world that can harden with age unless we consciously cultivate a mindstate of questioning, seeking and an openness to new ideas and experiences. The natural creativity of children becomes stultified, their opinions and viewpoints grow more rigid as the world loses its magic.

In fact, that selfsame creativity that we often associate with artists and the insane is the common birthright of all children. We think of artists as strange, eclectic and wierd because they don’t think like most people, because, generally speaking, they remain open to ideas and experiences. We don’t think of children as strange, eclectic and wierd because we associate their curiosity about the world and everything in it as a function of their youth and inexperience. Once children gain more experience, we expect them to settle down, to conform and to take on a more conventional and acceptable attitude that plants them firmly in the cultural ground tilled by their ancestors and elders, to themselves then become to propagators and protectors of our collective experience of reality.

As painters, as writers, as musicians, we play around with this experience of reality and find meaning in highlighting specific aspects of of our common heritage. We draw upon relationships, religion and social mores in our search for deeper meaning, using symbols and archetypes to awaken our deeper instincts and understandings of reality. And these, in turn, open the door into that deeper, underlying Reality, if only for the duration of that shared experience of art, music and writing. Being multi-dimensional in nature, we find comfort in the realization than we are more than the sum of our individuated experiences, in the knowledge that we share more in common with each other than that which binds us to our own lives and situations.

Life would be lonely without this ability, without this connection, the confirmation of which also substantiates our sense of belonging within the human community, the human family. We find comfort, then, in co-creating the illusion. In the telling and sharing of our stories, in whatever form, as our distant ancestors did as they huddled around the tenuous fires of primeval humanity, set against the encroaching darkness of an unknown and dangerous creation that threatened our very survival as a species.

The illusion is the necessary condition of incarnation. Art reminds us that we are in it together. Artists are the spiritual warriors of the Material World, pointing us back to that which is true beyond our own experiences. Confirmation that there is more, and that, whatever that “more” really is, we are an integral part of its expression.

The Energetic Resonance of Reality: What do you believe?

People often wonder what spiritual tradition I follow. They read my blogs, my Facebook and YouTube status updates, my LinkedIn profile and Twitter feed and they wonder if I’m a Devil worshiper, a New Age adherent, a Gnostic Christian, Agnostic or any number of other classifications of spiritual system they might be familiar with. But people rarely ask me directly what I believe personally; if I pray, or if I perform rituals to some form of Divinity in my private life. Of course such a question might be considered rude by most, as religion and politics are oft thought to be two of the most personal things a person can engage in and they both reveal so much about who a person truly is and what they really believe. For me to answer this question, it is necessary to engage in a short discourse regarding the nature of the world as it currently exists and my – and by my, I mean the individual’s – place in it.

I’ll begin as I’ve begun so many times before. As Above, So below. This hermetic truism is also a scientific axiom and a general statement of inter-relational inter-dependency between the Cosmos and Self. Expressed through physical manifestation and an infinite variation of potentiality at every level and stage intervening between extremes, personal experience as a subjective perception of a reality beyond the ability of the material senses to fully grasp is my, our, individual flashlight, or candle, the tool with which we define and interpret the things that we think, see and do.

All of manifest materiality is energy. I am energy. You are energy. The computer is energy. The table it sits on and the floor that sits upon are both energy, as is the planet itself, the grass, the dirt, the rock, the magma, the water ad infinitum. The speed at which energy resonates, or vibrates, determines its solidity. For example, the table is vibrating at a slower rate than the air that we are breathing, which vibrates at a slower rate than the electricity running through our computers, which vibrates at a slower rate than the thoughts that pass through our minds, which is a form of subtle energy that science has not yet formally announced the existence of but which must exist, as it is beyond question that we think, and are. Despite its nascent history and fumbling grasps at hypotheses and postulations regarding the nature of reality, science plays a large part in my understanding of reality and what lies beyond. As we move through time and space, inter-connected through quantum entanglement and the energetic resonation that permeates all of existence, it becomes clear that consciousness is the common denominator that connects all things at varying levels of interactivity and awareness.

Religions and spiritual systems reflect what seems to be a mathematical equation of Truth. Truth is a form of awareness, one that, when present, thrums through my body like an electrical current. Words, when spoken or heard, if containing Truth, lead to a visceral experience of discernment, which is beyond any doubt a form of connection to something beyond the mundane, beyond body language, beyond surface-level reality and the culturally-determined and biased truths that comprise the stuff of our daily grinds. All religions contain a kernel of Truth. By this stage of human cultural and societal evolution, it is apparent that the inter-relation between religious systems is much greater than most proponents of specific religions might admit to. Given certain cultural biases and evolutionary processes which have had a strong part in determining many of the ritualistic and humanistic aspects of different religious systems, the extraordinary amount of correlation about basic tenets and ideas about humanity and our relationships to the Cosmos and Creation is humbling to consider. As there are so many resources currently available for all who seek edification in this matter, it is not necessary for me to expound too deeply upon the subject other than to acknowledge this Truth and contextualize it.

Religions are culturally perceptive lenses through which we interpret reality. No more, no less. A woman born in Lebanon might find Islam to be her preferred lens while a man born in America might find Christianity to be his. An Englishman might choose Wicca or Luciferianism while a French-woman chooses some form of New Age Love and Light to express her beliefs about the nature of the world. Religious systems serve as guidelines that modify perception, affect behavior and determine both macro and micro-scaled events to the extent that they are institutionalized within disparate cultures. The universalizing religions of Christianity, Islam and Buddhism are more than just personal choices, then, but they are also cultural institutions that have played a large role in the evolution of global society and consciousness.

Because religions are variable, it is necessary to look at their core truths in order to determine the nature of the Greater Truth that underlies them. Coming from the perspective of criticism and censure negates clarity and limits potentiality and understanding, which muddies the vision, the mind and the ability to understand clearly. Emotional processes designed to lend energetic impetus to intentions then lead to compartmentalization, differentiation and hierarchical enumeration, dichotomous diffusion along a scale between extremes and a further playing out of human dramas within the crucible of cosmic forces manifest and hidden by idiosyncratic and egocentric blusterings.

The first word was a release of energy. That energy differentiated, becoming All That Was, Is and Ever Shall Be, as explained above. The first word was a sound, much like the words that we use today. The Buddhists say that word was Ohm. The power of words is expressed in ways too varied to remark upon, but suffice it to say that each of our lived experience should give us a very visceral understanding of this Truth. Words spoken in anger or in love, the beauteous sound of a harmonic chorus, a large choir, a child’s laugh. Words, sound, vibrations, resonation, creation. The relationship of musical notes to sacred geometry, to energy, to the very fabric of Creation, is emphasis of the importance of an holistic understanding of reality, of consciousness, of who and what humanity truly is and what our potential really encompasses.

Becoming aware of the importance of a scientific understanding of the world is secondary to the experience of the world. The visceral and involving task of living, or engaging the process of creation in the crucible of the Now moment trumps all attempts at codification and so, in this view, knowing the terminology and the processes can be seen as an irrelevant distraction from the beauty and perfection of pure knowing gained experientially. The triumph of ignorance and laziness threatens this perspective, as those who seek the comfort of illusory stability and understanding proselytize doctrines that encourage blind faith and impotent works rather than seeking knowledge and meaningful participation. Jesus taught that we had to be as innocent as children to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Buddha taught that you could find Nirvana by sitting still and meditating upon a blade of grass. Simplicity in Being is the common denominator.

Once your perspective has shifted to the point where you begin to understand the world as energetic interactions and relationships of linked and resonant fields, you begin to understand what it means to live in a state of grace, or in the flow of life. Once you have begun to lessen your inner resistance to the energy that is flowing through you, that is flowing through us all, you begin to realize that it is most often the blockages within yourself that cause many of the problems that surround you and that lead to further emotional imbalances and material contradictions in your life. It becomes possible to be aware of the flows of energy in your own body and the bodies of others, as well as the flow of intentions and the resultant interactions through which thought is manifest into deeds which imprint upon the very fabric of reality. As you clear your own blockages through meditative and prayerful practices, acupuncture, energy work with doctors, shamans, priests, preachers, pastors or psychics, your Self begins to experience states of consciousness previously unknown. Bell-like clarity and flashes of intuitive understanding that seem to come out of the blue, but that truly come from deep within you, from your Higher Self or God-presence, become only now accessible because of the clearing of mental and emotional detritus that was blocking their full expression. Our innate psychic potentiality can then be realized and we begin to experience more synchronicities, more intuitive leaps. Our dreams begin to instruct us and our lives begin to change, to simplify, to become less dramatic, less stressful, less blocked by negative energy that is really only our fears expressed in various forms stored in different locations in and around our physical bodies and astral fields.

The great Avatars, Prophets and Holy Men of the many religious traditions could have all sat down around a table together and had a great conversation. There would have been no fighting. No disagreements. The Buddha and Jesus would not have been rolling around on the floor trying to beat the life out of each other. There would have been only understanding. Only a flow of energy between clear conduits, unencumbered by mental and emotional blockages.

Any religious practice, if combined with an active curiosity and a deep desire for knowledge and understanding, can lead any practitioner to the heights of spiritual elevation and the transcendence of the physical world. The many interlocked levels of inter-relation between religious systems old and new point to certain deeper material and spiritual truths that mix physical science with biological science. In fact, there is only one science, the differentiation into disciplines was and is an affectation of the West done in the late 1800s more in order to confuse rather than enlighten as the masses of the European countries began to seek real educations. The human body, in microcosm, is a replica of the Cosmos, in macrocosm. The ancient peoples of the world knew this and built monumental structures designed to imprint eternal truths upon the facade of the world encased in stone for posterity’s sake. The Secrets of the Ages are now available to any who truly want to know.

The dangers we face we do so as a consequence of our chosen perspectives. All energetic relationships correspond to very strict rules according to flow and direction. This holds true regardless of context or type of energy. As an illustration, between the New Age-related and dichotomous designations of Service-to-Self and Service-to-Others as expressions of Bad and Good or Dark and Light, respectively, there exists a middling pole around which both extremes spiral, as exemplified by the yin-yang symbol. This pole is Unity Consciousness, a recognition of the necessity – and rightness – of the manifestation of opposition as an expression of the whole. Those whose intentions approximate the expression of Goodness as a lived reality can be seen to be on one side of the equation, while those who approximate the expression of Evil as a lived reality can be seen as the other side of that same equation. Being polar extremes, there is an inordinate amount of resistance and conflict between these two poles, as is readily understood by all. The eternal battle, it is called, or the War of Opposition. Those who plant themselves firmly between the two extremes experience the least amount of resistance as the energy from both poles flows through them rather than finding terminus within them.

Our personal perspectives are comprised of the choices that we make in regards to our cultural and spiritual alliances. Truth is beyond all of that. Beyond society, beyond religion, beyond politics, beyond opinion. Also, the reality beyond the mundane ability of our eyes to see is beyond what most care to know. The truth of it is that Creation can be a scary place if you allow fear to build blockages within your personal energy field. Since we are all connected, the fear that I might feel will affect those around me, passing like electrical current through capacitors linked and locked into multi-dimensional relationships we are barely aware of. Being an expression of primal creation, consciousness is not limited only to humans. Using the Judeo-Christian hierarchies of Angels and Demons as an example, there are multiple levels and types of consciousnesses that interact with humanity on behalf of Divinity in the form of God, corresponding to the di-pole expression of good and evil. They do not all have what we might consider our best interests – from our limited perspective - at heart, but they do engage in similar types of energetic relationships with us as we engage in with each other. Hence, the necessity of clearing one’s energetic fields so as to be better able to ascertain our inter-personal and inter-dimensional influences.

The Truth is, none of us is ever really alone. Therefore, there are no real secrets. There is no death as an end of consciousness and, in the end, there really is no you or me. We are variations upon a theme, holographically discrete expressions on a fractional scale ranging between 0 and 1, individually and collectively expressive of all the infinite potential therein. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only transformed. I am finding that what we are each responsible for in our own lives is what kind of energy capacitor we want to be when it comes to our own integral natures and expression of Self and our resultant interactions with others. And that depends upon our intentions and our orientations and the clarity we create during the course of obtaining Knowledge of Self.

So, to answer the original question, I follow all traditions and no traditions. I can sit in a church, a temple, an ashram, a mosque or a forest and find God. As my friend Deepam is wont to say, some follow the Pathless Path, written in the Sky.

I am one of those.
